The activities marking the 30th anniversary of Royal Kids International Nursery and Primary School, Ogbomoso, on Wednesday, took another dimension as male teachers of both the primary and secondary schools beat their old pupils 8 – 4 in a novelty match.
The game, which was played at the instance of the Proprietress of the Group of Schools, Mrs Deborah Oyedeji; the Head Mistress, Pastor (Mrs) Grace Akanbi; teachers and parents of the group of schools, took place on the football pitch of Royal International College, Yaku area, Ogbomoso.
The octogenarian Proprietress described the novelty match as a show of love and dedication on the part of the teachers.
Mrs Oyedeji, likewise the head mistress, however, covertly wanted the old pupils to beat the teachers.
The management had, on Tuesday, organised a quiz among three primary schools in Ogbomoso.
The school also, on Monday, visited Kersey Children Home, an orphanage in Ogbomoso.
Among others, there will be a grand finale for all the activities on Saturday at Caretaker Baptist Church, Odokoto area, Ogbomoso.
