Ambassador Lateef Mobolaji Akanbi Ibrahim (popularly known as LIAM) is the Financial Secretary of the City Boy Movement (CBM) in Oyo State. A native of Ogbomoso South Local Government Area, he is also an aspirant for the Ogbomoso South State Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
On September 28, 2025, he was turbaned as Sarkin Kudun Chiroman Iyan Zazzau in Kaduna State. That was a recognition that reflects his growing influence and commitment to service beyond regional boundaries.
A visionary entrepreneur and accomplished leader, LIAM is the Chief Executive Officer of Charoite Stones Limited and founder of The Glams Realtor, two thriving brands with footprints across real estate, construction, oil and gas, and strategic consulting. Under his leadership, Charoite Stones Limited has evolved into a multidisciplinary firm driving innovation in construction, energy operations, agricultural solutions, and infrastructure development, combining engineering excellence with sustainable practices to create lasting economic value.
Through The Glams Realtor, a luxury real estate brand with over seven years of experience, he has championed sophisticated architectural designs, premium finishing standards, and smart-home systems tailored to modern lifestyles. His leadership style is defined by strategic thinking, innovation, reliability, and long-term value creation across diverse sectors.
Beyond business, LIAM has demonstrated deep commitment to youth development and education. In the last JAMB exercise, he sponsored 100 students in Ogbomoso South with free JAMB forms, tutorials, and CBT training, a move widely applauded as a practical investment in the future of young people.
As an APC aspirant for Ogbomoso South State Constituency, LIAM presents a forward-looking vision anchored on empowerment, development, and transparent leadership.
He believes Ogbomoso South is a land rich in culture, intellect, and enterprise, and he is determined to build on this heritage through:
Youth and Women Empowerment:
Promoting skill acquisition, vocational training, entrepreneurship programmes, and access to microcredit schemes that will equip young people and women to thrive economically and participate actively in governance.
Advocating improved school infrastructure, better teacher welfare, and scholarship schemes for indigent but brilliant students, while fostering partnerships that enhance modern learning opportunities.
Accessible Healthcare:
Pushing for revitalized primary health centres, essential drug availability, and maternal and child health initiatives to reduce preventable diseases.
Economic Growth and Job Creation:
Supporting artisans, farmers, and small businesses through cooperatives, agricultural extension services, and improved market infrastructure to stimulate local industry and employment.
Infrastructure and Rural Development:
Championing fair allocation of state resources to improve roads, electricity, water supply, and digital connectivity — positioning Ogbomoso South as a model of balanced urban-rural development.
He maintains open communication rooted in integrity and service. For Ambassador Lateef Mobolaji Akanbi Ibrahim (LIAM), public office is not merely about political ambition but about restoring hope, unity, and sustainable progress. With a blend of entrepreneurial expertise, grassroots engagement, and strategic leadership, he stands as a dynamic figure poised to shape a new chapter for Ogbomoso South.
