APC: Folarin not working against Tinubu’s presidential aspiration – APC chieftain

A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs Oluwatoyin Abeleje, has discarded a rumour doing the round that the governorship candidate of the All party in the 2023 governorship election, Sen. Teslim Folarin, is working for the aspiration of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the expense of the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s.
Abeleje said Sen. Folarin remains a true supporter of the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Tinubu.
This is coming hours after Sen. Folarin, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Contents, clinched the ticket of the party on Friday.
The inroad to the presidential election of the party has raised serious concerns from different tendencies of the party.
According to a statement personally signed by Abeleje, who is also the state director of the Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju Tinubu, and made available to PanNigerian News, the rumour is from unscrupulous individuals who are hell-bent on tarnishing the image of the governorship candidate.
Mrs Abeleje said, “This is a cheap blackmail on the personality of Sen. Teslim Folarin.
“He is a firm supporter of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, whose role in saving Nigeria from the maladministration of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) cannot be quantified. The rumour is from a pit of hell.
“Even, from our side as a pro-Tinubu group, we are confident that Folarin is for our very distinguished Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.”
