Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has been announced the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential to defeat 11 other contestants.
Atiku emerged with a total of 371 votes followed by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who had 237 votes.
The former governor of Kwara State and a former Senate President, Bukola Abubakar Saraki, had 70 votes and 12 votes were voided to defeat 11 other contestants
763 votes were cast while 12 votes were voided.
