A content creative strategist, Mr Wisdom Mudashiru, has advised youths in the country to embrace content creation as a viable career path.
Mudashiru, the lead strategist at Wsdm Digital, a creative agency based in Abuja, gave the advice during the Project 120 Pizza Party in Abuja.
He described content creation as a dynamic and evolving career path with the potential for personal branding, influence, and financial success.
According to him, the demand for engaging content across various platforms is ever-growing, adding that content creation can be practised by anyone with a smartphone and ideas to share with the public.
He, however, said: “Carving a career as a content creator requires some effort and versatility in the digital space.
Mudashiru said, “I, therefore, advise Nigerian youths to keep learning and expand their knowledge about content creation to reap from its quantifiable potential.
“I believe that everyone is a creator in one way or another, and this could serve as a rewarding career path that can be explored in Nigeria.”
He explained that the Project 120 was designed to challenge participants to create a piece of content everyday for 120 days.
The content creator added that the project, which began as a personal challenge, has culminated into a gathering of the most creative minds in Abuja to have fun and network.
He said that the goal was to help individuals and brands to bring their creative projects to life.
One of the participants, Mr Usman Wambai, described the project as a wonderful experience, particularly networking with young people.
“I was excited at winning twice during the game sessions,”Wambai said.
Another participant, Miss Vanessa Onwuka, a student of Nasarawa State University, said the project 120 provided the needed opportunity to meet people of like minds.
Onwuka, a virtual artist, painter and jewellery maker, said she enjoyed the opportunity to market her craft.
