The management of the Crown Football Club, Ogbomoso has commiserated with the Executive Chairman Prince Dotun Oyelade, management and staff of the Broadcasting Corporation Of Oyo State (BCOS) over the inferno that gutted sections of its studio on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a statement signed by the club’s media head, Mr Oyetunji Oyedeji, and made available to newsmen on Thursday, the General Manager of club, Mr Kunle Oyeleye, said the corporation has continued to play a pivotal role in information dissemination, saying “The corporation, overtime, has served as the major means of information dissemination to the public and Crown Football Club has continued to benefit from the success stories of the corporation.
“Her corporate social responsibility (CSR) to the community is second to none and for this reason, we are saddened by the unfortunate incident. We thank God that the damage did not claim lives and it didn’t go beyond control as it was put out pronto.
“We pray the affected parts shall be better than ever and add more beauty as the proverbial burnt palace.
“To this end, let me appeal to the general public especially the wealthy ones to rally round the corporation to carry out repairs and replacement of the affected studios . It is our collective efforts to ensure greater Oyo State under Omituntun 2.0.”
