Hon. Julius Oluwatosin Ajayi, popularly known as Dove, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in Ogbomoso and across Nigeria as they commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In his Easter message, Ajayi described the season as a profound reminder of sacrifice, renewal, hope, and the triumph of light over darkness.
He urged Christians to reflect on the core values of Easter by embracing love, unity, selflessness, and faith in God.
“Easter is a sacred period that calls for deep reflection on the virtues of sacrifice, humility, and compassion as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
“It is a time to renew our commitment to serving humanity and contributing meaningfully to the growth and development of our communities,” he said.
The Ogbomoso-born philanthropist and founder of Dove Bright Future Foundation also encouraged residents to use the occasion to strengthen the bonds of peace and coexistence, noting that collective progress can only be achieved in an atmosphere of unity and mutual respect.
Hon. Ajayi further reiterated his commitment to grassroots development and the welfare of the people, stressing that his continuous engagement in community-driven initiatives remains focused on creating opportunities and improving lives.
“As we celebrate this season of hope, I urge everyone to remain steadfast, support one another, and continue to believe in a better future for Ogbomoso and our dear nation at large,” he added.
