A former Majority Leader of the House of Representatives and senatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Oyo North senatorial district, Hon. Mulikat Akande-Adeola, has sympathised with the Oyo State traditional rulers’ community, people of Iseyin and Oke Ogun at large over the demise of the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba (Dr) Abdul-Ganiy Adekunle Salau.
In her condolence message made available to pannigeriannews.com, Hon. Akande-Adeola described the late monarch as a lover of the development of his town.
The statement added that Oba Salau sought the progress of his subjects till he breathed his last, saying that he was very accomodating and kindhearted while alive.
She said, “Losing a monarch of this magnitude this time is, indeed, a huge loss. I must really say that Kabiesi came, saw and conquered. He will be sorely missed by and sundry.
The first House of Reps’ female majority leader in the Nigeria’s history prayed that Almighty Allah will give the Iseyin people the fortitude to bear the gigantic loss and grant the monarch Alijanat fridaus.
