The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Ayede, located in Ogbomoso, Oyo State has debunked circulating claims that the institution has shortlisted candidates for its recent job vacancies.
The Rector, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, in a statement issued by the institution’s Acting Director of the Centre for Information, Communication and Public Relations, Mr. Sunday Adepoju, described the information as false, misleading, and the handiwork of mischief-makers.
Abdul-Hameed urged members of the public to disregard any unauthorised list being shared on social media or other platforms to deceive people.

According to the statement, the recruitment process is still ongoing and no applicant has been shortlisted.
“The Polytechnic is diligently working on all received applications, and the public will be duly informed once the process is completed,” the Rector assured.
He further emphasised that the entire exercise is transparent, strictly merit-based, and designed to ensure that only the best-qualified candidates and brightest minds are selected at the end of the process.
The Management also warned applicants and the general public to be wary of fraudulent individuals or groups attempting to extort unsuspecting job seekers under the guise of employment processing.
He reiterated the institution’s commitment to a fair, credible, and integrity-driven recruitment procedure.
