The pioneer and current rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Oyo State, Dr Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, has stressed that the institution would thrive on innovation, functional education, and international partnerships
As part of efforts to position the new Polytechnic, stakeholders at a webinar recently organised by the institution on the theme “The MEdTRIZ Model: Redesigning Curriculum to Meet Future Workforce”, harped on the need to make the institution relevant in terms of innovations and functional education which, according to them, would make its graduates impactful on the society.

The speaker gave practical and workable ideas that can actually quicken the step of the Polytechnic to rank among the best institutions that are providing technical and functional education in Nigeria and the world at large.
He also amplified various opportunities available in form of synergy and collaboration between the institution and IIUM in Malaysia.
