The Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State has offered heart-felt felicitations to the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Zacchaeus Adelabu Adedeji on his 47th birthday anniversary.
The Rector of the institution, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, described Dr. Adedeji as a special gift to Iwo-Ate community in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Area of Oyo State, Ogbomosoland, Oyo State, Nigeria and humanity at large.
Dr. Abdul-Hameed, who described Dr. Adedeji as a thorough-bred consummate professional of high repute, also said the FIRS has received a drastic and tremendous boost courtesy of his sterling performance.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement by the institution’s Protocols and Public Relations Officer, Mr. Sunday Adepoju, and made available on Wednesday.
Dr. Abdul-Hameed, in the statement, said, “I want to, on behalf of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Ayede ably led by Barrister (Mrs) Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu, Academic Board, Management, staff and students, congratulate the Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service, Dr. Zacchaeus Adelabu Adedeji, on the auspicious occasion of his 47 years’ journey in life.

Dr. Abdul-Hameed also noted that Dr. Adedeji’s diverse experiences as a Commissioner of Finance in Oyo State, Executive Secretary of National Sugar Development Council, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Revenue, Executive Chairman of FIRS, among other private sector’s engagements, stand him out in his contributions to the growth and development of the country and humanity at large.
