The Executive Chairman of the Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, has felicitated a renowned businessman and philanthropist, polician and Chairman of the Oyo State Project Performance Monitoring Agency, Engr. (Chief) Mufutau Open Salawu, on his birth anniversary today.
While commending the numerous efforts of Chief Open Salawu, who is also the Babalaje of Ogbomosoland, Hon. Ogunlade, in a statement, on Saturday, described the celebrant as a politician who believes in modern politics and good governance.
Ogunlade lauded Chief Salawu’s generosity and philanthropy to the poor, widows, children, students, among numerous contributions to religions organisations and, even, beyond.
Ogunlade said, “Today is not just a day to celebrate the number of years of Engr. Chief Mufutau Open Salawu; it goes beyond the number to the impacts he has made in the societies across Nigeria.
“He remains one of the strong pillars of the current administration of the People’s Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Sir Seyi Makinde (FNSE).
“So on behalf of the good people of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, I congratulate our leader on this auspicious occasion of his birth anniversary today.
“May he remain eternally blessed with good health, sound mind, and long life together with his amiable wife, children and the political families of Engr. Chief Mufutau Open Salawu.”
