The Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Ogbomoso, Oyo State has sent warm congratulations to the His Royal Majesty, Oba Moses Olayiwola JP, Abiboye III, the Aresa-Pupa of Iresa-Pupa, on the 8th Iresa-Pupa Day celebration scheduled to hold today.
The Rector, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, in a goodwill message to Oba Olayiwola, on behalf of the institution, commended the traditional ruler for his numerous contributions towards the development of the polytechnic, whose temporary site is located on Iresa-Pupa land.
Dr. Abdul-Haneed said, “It is a great honour and profound joy to celebrate this special occasion — the 8th Iresa-Pupa Day and the laudable effort to raise N50 million for the development of the classical kingdom of antiquity.
“Words, indeed, cannot express the gigantic role and commitment of the Kabiesi, the Aresa-Pupa of Iresa-Pupa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Moses Olayiwola JP, Ajiboye III towards the development of our Polytechnic. Kabiesi’s contributions are just too enormous.
“We celebrate our Father, members of the communities that make up Iresa-Pupa. And on behalf of our Governing Council Chairman, Honourable Yakubu Dati (fnipr), Members of the Council, Principal Officers, Management, Staff and Students, I extend our warm greetings and best wishes to Kabiesi and the entire Iresa-Pupa Kingdom.
“As an Institution and a partner in progress, we recognize the rich cultural heritage, resilience, and unity that define Iresa-Pupa.
