The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Global Alumni Association has hailed and thanked President Bola Tinubu for appointing a former Commissioner for Works in Osun State, Engr. oluremi Omowaye, as Executive Director, Project Implementation, Federal Housing Authority.
Omowaye read Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the prestigious LAUTECH and served as former Commissioner for Works under former Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State.
In a press statement by the global Public Relations Officer of the association, Dr. Babalola Obasanjo, made available to journalists today, the global President, Engr. Olalekan Badmus, lauded the gesture by President Tinubu and congratulated Engr. Omowaye on what he termed a well deserved appointment, owing to his antecedents and contributions to the Nigerian project.
The statement read in part: “On behalf of the global President of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Global Alumni Association, Engr. Lekan Badmus, and the entire members, I congratulate Engr. Oluremi Omowaye on his well deserved appointment as Executive Director, Project Implementation, Federal Housing Authority.
“We are thankful to President Bola Tinubu for deeming fit to appoint him in that capacity.
“I, therefore, wish to charge him to, as usual, contribute his quota in the development of Federal Housing Authority. From every member of the LAUTECH Alumni Association, accept our heartfelt best wishes in the new appointment.”
It is recalled that President Tinubu recently appointed Engr. Lekan Badmus, who was a former Is in State Commissioner, as Executive Director in the Nigerian Ports Authority.
The global body also called on the Oyo State Government led by Engr. Seyi Makinde other governors in the country as well as the presidency to engage the brilliant alumni of LAUTECH in juicy appointments at various levels of governments.
