LG poll: Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala donates 3m to support APC in Ogbomoso

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Youths in Parliament, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, has donated 3 million naira to the three chairmanship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his constiruency ahead of tomorrow’s local government elections in Oyo State.
Hon. Alao-Akala, who currently represents Ogbomoso South, Ogbomoso North and Oriire Federal Constiruency, said the gesture was to once again reaffirm his dedicated support to the candidates of the party while also ensuring that the APC has the needed resources to succeed.
Hon. Alao-Akala, a former Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State, also wished the APC success in the election lending his unalloyed support for the chairmanship candidates of the party, Hon Ojo Matteuw Martins (Ogbomosho South), Hon Joshua Oladunni Oyedele (Ogbomoso North), Hon Hammed Kolawole (Oriire) and all the councillorship candidates of the party across Ogbomoso and the state at large.
He enjoined the people of Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Local Government Areas to massively vote for APC candidates in the election.
He said, “I remain committed to the success of our party across the across. In Ogbomoso as a whole and in our federal constitency, I enjoin our teeming supporters to vote for our candidates tomorrow.
“Local government is closest tier of government to the people and so tomorrow’s election should not be toyed with.
“I advise our teeming supporters to embrace peace and eschew violence.”
