LG polls: Ignore insinuation that PDP’ll take it all, APC candidate tells voters

Ahead the 2024 local government elections, a Prince of Osupa chieftaincy family and councillorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osupa Ward (09) in Ogbomoso North local government area of Oyo State, Hon. Rasheed Kamoru (a.k.a. Oganla), on Saturday, asked voters and supporters of the party not to be deceived by the ‘ruling party takes it all syndrome’.
Hon. Kamoru enjoined voters in Osupa ward, Ogbomoso North local government area and Oyo State at large to consider the credibility of the APC candidates and vote massively for them in the April 27 local government elections.
He also said that the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) had promised to conduct credible elections across the state.
He said, “I’m a Prince of Baale Osupa royal dynasty, both in Ogbomoso North and Ogo-Oluwa local government areas and I’m hell-bent on the progress of our land.
“As the people of the state are waiting for a new dawn in the governance of local government, I charge all the electorate to consider the pedigree of each candidate in order to make their voting decisions.
“With great respect for our traditional rulers, civil servants, artisans, students, workers, and so on in the ward and Ogbomoso as a whole, I enjoin all to see the elections as a way of salvaging the system.
“I extend my warm appreciation to all our party leaders in the state down to all the local government areas and wards. God bless you all. Victory awaits us in the APC.”
