
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogbomoso Zone, earlier has held a grand hand over ceremony at the zonal office, marking the end of one leadership era and the beginning of another.
The programme was attended by prominent leaders and heads of organizations, including former State Chairman, Com. Dr. Bukola Olatunji; Com. Apostle Ranti Ajani; Com. T. T Wisdom; Com. Mahmood and the State President of Methodist Youth Fellowship, Com. Caleb Oke, among other dignitaries.
In his farewell address, the outgoing Chairman, Com. Matthew Oyewusi, expressed his profound gratitude to God Almighty for guiding him throughout his tenure. He also appreciated supporters and members for their unwavering support, charging the new executive to build on the foundation laid and take the organization to greater heights.
Com. Oyewusipp’s successor, Com. Taiwo Ajayi, in his acceptance speech, thanked members for the trust reposed in him. He emphasized the importance of unity across all levels of the organization, stressing that collective efforts would drive progress and ensure the organization’s continued growth and success.
The highlight of the program was the handing over lecture, delivered by Com. Dr. Bukola Olatunji, who spoke on the theme “Building Sustainable Leadership Service.” His presentation was insightful, providing valuable insights for the new leadership on the importance of sustainable leadership and service.
The new leadership, led by Com. Taiwo Ajayi, has vowed to prioritize unity, service, and sustainable leadership, promising to take the organization to new heights.
