
The O3 Finance School, Ile-Ife, Osun State has trained students and staff of the Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State on emerging opportunities in technology-driven finance at the O3 Finance Summit 2.0.

The summit, themed “Web3 & AI For All: Building an Inclusive Ecosystem”, was held at the institution and featured lectures, practical sessions, and networking opportunities aimed at equipping participants with financial knowledge and digital skills relevant to the 21st century.
In his remark, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, represented by the Director of Academic Planning, Engr. Dr. Temilola Morufat Adepoju, commended the initiative, stressing that the programme aligns with the institution’s commitment to skills acquisition and entrepreneurship.
Welcoming the participants to the Summit, acting Director of Centre for Skills Acquisitions and Entrepreneurship Development (CSAED), Mr. Oluwaseun Owojori, appreciated the students and staff for honouring the Centre’s invitation.
Owojori admonished them to make use of the skills and knowledge they would acquire.
He commended O3 Finace School for the trainimg and lauded the Rector for providing the platform for both the staff and students of the institution to maximise thwir potentials.
Delivering the welcome address, the Co-Founder and C.E.O of O3 Finance School, Mr. Olaoluwa Oluwasina, described the summit as “a movement to equip young people with the mindset, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in a rapidly changing financial world.”

According to him, “Web3 represents decentralisation and ownership, while AI unlocks intelligence and innovation. Together, they are reshaping industries, opportunities, and the way we live. For us at O3 Finance School, this theme is a call to ensure these opportunities are not limited to a select few but are rather open and accessible to everyone.”

Oluwasina recalled the maiden edition of the summit in 2023, noting the eagerness of young people to acquire financial knowledge.
He emphasized that the second edition was designed to reach more participants, deliver deeper insights, and provide practical tools for financial success.

Also speaking, the acting Director of the institution’s Centre for Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (CSAED) praised the collaboration, noting that such partnerships are vital in preparing graduates for the future of work.
The summit brought together facilitators, industry experts, and participants, who explored the role of financial education, Web3, and Artificial Intelligence in driving inclusive growth across Africa.
Quoting Nelson Mandela, Oluwasina reminded participants that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” adding that financial education powered by Web3 and AI is the tool needed to shape a more inclusive tomorrow.
He expressed gratitude to partners and facilitators for making the summit possible and charged the participants to put their new knowledge into action toward building sustainable wealth and financial independence.
