A graduate of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi Adeleke (popularly known as Segun Hornz), is set to break Guiness World Records (GWR) in Saxophone blowing performance.
Segun Hornz is set to challenge the hitherto longest marathon saxophone blowing performed by Mysore Sainatha Subbalaxmi in Bangalore, India, from 18 to 19 February 2023 who achieved 26 hr 23 minutes.
Born in Ogbomoso about three decades ago, Adeleke Segun Hornz
grew up to love the Saxophone passionately, making him to have rehearsed the saxophone for about 15000 hours, a wonderful feat only few in the world have achieved.
He is a 2013 alumnus of Smith International Baptist Academy, Ogbomoso (S.I.B.A.O); 2022 graduate of Agricultural Technology Department of LAUTECH and a proud native of Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria.
His media and publicity strategist, Olatunji Fatai Alade, said, “The saxophone blowing attempt by our good brother and star, Olusegun Adeniyi Adeleke, a very distinguished saxophonist, will be attempting to break Guiness World Records (GWR) in saxophone blowing.
“The event will be staged between 6th to 9th of November, 2024 starting at 2:00 p.m. The venue of the event is Parrot 101.1 FM, Oke Baby Area, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria.
