The Executive Chairman of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Area of Oyo State, headquartered in Ajaawa, Hon. Seun Ojo, has congratulated Christians and indigenes of the council area, Oyo State, Nigeria on the occasion of the 2025’s Easter celebration.
In his Easter message released on Sunday, Hon. Ojo emphasised the importance of the enduring power of sacrifice, love, and the triumph of good over evil.
He beseeched Christians and people of other faith to continue praying for the government of Oyo State under the leaderhip of Governor Seyi Makinde in his transformative agenda which began with Omi Tuntun 1.0 and continues with Omi Tuntun 2.0.
Ojo said, “On this glorious occasion of Easter, I extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to all Christians and indeed every indigene and resident of our beloved Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Area, Ogbomoso at large, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
“Easter is a time of renewal, hope, and reflection. It reminds every Christian of the enduring power of sacrifice, love, and the triumph of good over evil.
“As we commemorate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us be inspired to embody the values He, Jesus, taught — compassion, unity, and faith.
“Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, we continue to make strides in building a more prosperous and inclusive Oyo State. This season is another opportunity to come together in love and renew our commitment to peace, progress, and the collective good of our communities.”
He enjoined all to use the period of Easter to strengthen bonds with neighbours and the less privileged.
“May this Easter bring joy to our homes, peace to our hearts, and continued blessings to Ogo-Oluwa, Ogbomoso, Oyo State and Nigeria,” Hon. Ojo added.
