The Vice Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area and Political Head of Ogbomoso Central Local Council Development Authority, Hon. Taofeek Adigun Salawu, has congratulated the Soun of Ogbomosoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Oladunni Olaoye, Orumogege III, over the victory that was recorded in his favour at the Appeal Court on Tuesday.
Hon. Salawu, who dwelled on the unwavering commitment of the Paramount Ruler to the growth and progress of Ogbomosoland, said the victory is for all lovers of progress within and outside Ogbomoso.
Hon. Salawu is a staunch follower of the Babalaje of Ogbomosoland, Waziri Jari Nupe and Director-General of Oyo State Project Monitoring Agency, Engr. Muftau Open Salawu.
Speaking with pannigeriannews.com in Ogbomoso on Thursday, the vice chairman and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic said the victory represents the wish and prayer of the generality of all Ogbomoso indigenes, both at home and in the Diaspora.
He said, “The Appeal Court judgement delivered on Tuesday in Ibadan which affirmed the installation of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III as the Soun of Ogbomosoland is a milestone..
“I congratulate our father and lover as well as grand builder of modern Ogbomoso on this victory.”
