PDP chieftain, Hon. Akinyode, hails Ogbomoso North council boss on first anniversary in office

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Hon. Bayo Akinyode, has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, on the occasion of his first anniversary in office.
In a statement personally signed by him and made available to Pannigeriannews.com, Hon. Akinyode praised the council boss for what he described as “commendable strides” within his first year.
“I want to congratulate and commend the Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, and his deputy, Hon. Taofeek Adigun Salawu, on the occasion of their first anniversary in office,” he said.
The philanthropist and entrepreneur highlighted some of the projects embarked upon by the local government under Ogunlade’s leadership, including the commissioning of the Amotekun Building in Oke-Aanu and other initiatives geared towards enhancing governance and security in the council area.
“I am also happy because the Chairman deemed it fit to commission some of the projects the government carried out within the first year. This is a testament to responsive leadership and a clear indication that the administration is on the right track,” he added.
Akinyode also extended her commendations to the entire team at the council, including members of the legislative arm, for their collective efforts in bringing development closer to the people.
He called on residents of Ogbomoso North to continue to support the current administration at both the local and state levels, especially the government of Oyo State under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, whom he described as “the People’s Governor.”
“I urge our people to remain supportive and committed to the progressive agenda of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, as he continues to deliver good governance across the state. Together, we can build the Oyo State of our dreams,” he said.
The statement concluded with a renewed call for unity, development, and sustained community engagement to ensure the success of ongoing government efforts.
