Prestige Paints Nigeria Limited, one of Nigeria’s foremost paint manufacturing companies, has officially opened a new distribution depot in the Saabo/Kara area of Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Among others, products available for sale at the depot include Plaster of Paris (POP) materials, gloss paint, emulsion paint, satin paint, matt paint, screeding paint.
Investigation by Pannigeriannews.com revealed that the newly commissioned facility is the largest paint depot in Ogbomoso and its environs.
The Chairman of the company and global businessman, Dr. Olabayo Olaonipekun Oyadiran, said the newly inaugurated depot signals a major investment in the company’s logistics and retail expansion.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony which held recently, Dr. Oyadiran, a Prince of Amura Ladokun Royal Family in Ogbomoso zone of Oyo State, described the project as a milestone in the company’s efforts to bring quality products closer to customers while contributing to local economic development.
“This depot is not only a strategic business move, but also a testament to our commitment to empowering local communities, creating jobs, and supporting national industrial growth,” Dr. Oyadiran said.
The businessman, respected for his global ventures and support for entrepreneurship in Nigeria, reiterated the company’s plans to continue expanding its footprint across the country and beyond.
“This Ogbomoso depot is expected to serve as a hub for distribution to neighboring towns and rural areas, improve access to the brand’s wide range of paint products.”
Oyadiran, who expressed confidence in the 25-Year Development Plan of the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Affolabi Olaoye, called on other investors to come and contribute meaningfully to the development of the communities.
