The lawmaker representing Oyo North senatorial district in Senate, Sen. Dr Abdul-Fatai Omotayo Buhari, has felicitated the new Soun Of Ogbomosoland, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye Orumogege III, on his ascension to the throne of his ancestors.
In a release made available to journalists in Abuja, the Chairman, House Committee on Aviation, described the 21st Soun of Ogbomosoland as a paramount ruler whose esteemed reign promises a new era of development, progress and prosperity for his subjects.
According to him, ”With profound admiration, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, the Soun of Ogbomosoland on his historic ascension as the 21st Soun of Ogbomoso.
“His esteemed reign promises a new era of enlightenment, progress, and prosperity for the subjects of the ancient city.
“His devotion to the welfare and advancement of Ogbomoso is evident and I am confident that his reign will be marked by exemplary leadership, wisdom, and a deep sense of duty. The legacy he embarked upon is one that will resonate through generations to come.”
Senator Buhari prayed for wisdom and strength for the new Oba as he fathers Ogbomosos.
“May God grant you the wisdom and strength to lead with grace and fairness. May your reign be a time of peace, prosperity, and unity for all under your benevolent rule.
