The Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful across Ogbomosoland on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message made available to journalists, Oba Olaoye congratulated sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland for witnessing the end of Ramadan, describing the period as one of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and devotion.
He prayed that Allah accepts their fasts, prayers, and good deeds, while granting them peace, prosperity, and a brighter future.
Oba Olaoye urged Muslims to sustain the virtues of compassion, forgiveness, gratitude, and humility imbibed during the fasting period, noting that Eid-ul-Fitr presents an opportunity for reconciliation, renewal, and strengthened unity within the community.
Oba Olaoye emphasised the need for collective efforts towards the progress and development of Ogbomosoland, encouraging residents to continue to live in peace and harmony with one another.
He also called on the Muslim faithful to remember Ogbomosoland in their prayers during the festive period, expressing hope that the celebration would bring families closer and reinforce the bonds of unity among the people.
