About three-month old baby boy abandoned near Parrot FM, Ogbomoso is now at the custody of Kersey Children Home, Oke Baby area, Ogbomoso.
Meanshike, residents of Ogbomoso have expressed shock on the discovery of the abandoned boy.
The baby, believed to be about three months old, was reportedly found in a building located close to Parrot 101.1FM in the Oke Baby area of Ogbomoso.
According to sources, the discovery was made at about 11:00 a.m., drawing the attention of passersby and residents in the vicinity.
The infant was said to have been left unattended under circumstances that are yet to be fully ascertained.
Eyewitnesses in the area disclosed that two unidentified individuals were earlier seen loitering around the vicinity where the baby was later found, raising suspicion about their possible connection to the incident.
The baby was in the custody of Parrot 101.1FM, where efforts were made to ensure the child’s safety and well-being.
The Nigeria Police Force, Owode Divisional Police Office has now taken the baby to the Kersey Children Home, Ogbomoso.
