Nollywood movie star, Yul Edochie, has condemned the ongoing challenge mocking the outfit of the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima.
Shettima has received knocks as a result of his outfit.
Some have said that Shettima should have unboton his jacket while on a sitting posture. His foot wears are also a cause of the widespread criticisms, especially from the youth population.
Reacting, Edochie, in a tweet on his Twitter handle, described the development as a misplaced priority, wondering why Nigerians are bothered about dressing amid the numerous challenges facing the nation.
He wrote, “Nigerians & misplaced priorities. They’ll never trend important issues, only frivolities. Who cares about Shettima’s dressing?
“If the next President of Nigeria can fix the country, secure it and make Nigeria work. He can be wearing only boxers and a singlet to work. Who cares?”
That’s why we have been deceived over the years. A man of integrity (I am not talking about the politicians, anyway) would be looked at as a man from another planet, while those with sugar-coated mouth but with 0% love for citizen welfare would be praised. Until then ….. the sufferings might continue
