Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has been commended as a performing governor who has impacted positively on the masses as well his favourable disposition to workers and pensioners in the state.
The state Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Barrister Temilolu Seun Ashamu, gave the commendation at the mnistry’s Conference Room while appreciating the staff for their commitment to the service and receiving Most Efficient Ministry Award during 2021 Oyo state productivity day.
He said the award would spur him to do more in serving the people of the state as he appreciated the governmenta for giving an enabling environment to excel and for giving him the opportunity to serve.
He equally thanked the management and staff of the ministry for their support and co-operation, noting that the success stories were attained through joint efforts.
He noted, with delight, that the management team of the ministry deserves commendation and eulogy for their co-operation with him in implementing programmes, projects and policies in line with the mandate given by the present administration.
He added that when civil servants show more dedication, punctuality and honesty in the discharge of their duties, the state would move to a level of emulation among its contemporaries.
He enjoined the staff to be more committed to the advancement of the state while discharging their statutory duties in their various posts.
He, therefore, called on the staff and people of the state to support Governor Makinde in his vision and mission to move state forward as the administration has fulfilled his campaign promises.
