The Nigerian National League Club Owners and Managers Association has congratulated the minister for sports, Senator John Owan Enoh, on his new appointment as the new helmsman in Nigeria’s sports industry.
The association, pannigeriannews.com learnt, was convinced that his appointment came as a result of his sterling performances in politics and humanitarian services as the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who represented Cross River Central senatorial district.
“We hope you shall continue and consolidate on the impactful performances of your predecessors.
“Your appointment came at a time the Nigeria Football is enjoying a new lease of life under the great leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau and football as the numero uno sport and unifying factor in Nigeria shall enjoy your cooperation and expertise to further boost the country’s image among FIFA coordinated nations of the world.
“Of course, National the League as the most important league that feeds all others to the national teams shall enjoy your support as well.
“There are still lots of ground to till in the sports sector and we are of the convincing belief that you shall bring to bear your encyclopedic knowledge that translated to great success for you in administration, politics and business into Nigerian sports,” the group stated.
