The immediate past Deputy Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr Adewusi Adepoju, has been appointed as the acting Dean of Students’ Affairs of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
His appointment and two other deputies’ took effect from September 1, 2023.
Adepoju was educated at Ijeru Baptist Day School, Ogbomoso; Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Ahoyaya, Ogbomoso; and studied B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, LAUTECH.
Dr Adepoju, who became a Senior Lecturer at the institution’s Pure and Applied Chemistry Department in 2021, hailed from Oginni compound, Osupa area, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Pannigeriannews.com learnt that the appointment of Dr Adepoju was welcomed by students and staff alike, owing to his commitment to promoting student welfare and academic excellence.
Also, the appointment, according to feelers derived by our correspondent who visited LAUTECH today is seen as a good development in the institution.
