50th birthday anniversary is a crucial stage in the life of every fulfilling souls, celebrating 50th birthday anniversary is anchored on the reflection of God’s magnificent on the celebrant and also to provide platforms through which testimonies are shared through pragmatic life history of the celebrant.
Taking cursory look at the life’s history of the celebrant today is an avenue to keep teeming of admirers both near and far abreast on the life sojourn of the celebrant.
Prince (Dr.) Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun is an illustrious son and prince of the Kingdom with verifiable credentials, he was born on 25th May, 1974 to the family of Late Pa Salaudeen Alabi Adedokun a descendant of Oyeyode Royal Family in Dosumu’s lineage. His father who was married to Late Munirat Asande Adedokun both who engaged in farming (both cash and food crops) and trading activities.
Hon. (Prince) Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun began his elementary school at H. L. A. Primary School Oko between 1981-1987, he had his Secondary education at Baptist Secondary Grammar School Oko between 1988 to 1993, as a brilliant young boy, he came out with an impressive and outstanding performance in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination precisely WAEC.
On completion of secondary education, Alh. Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun opted to make tour to places like Kano, Kaduna purposely to engage in some lucrative crafts works and businesses, but his hope was dimmed when one of his teacher and mentor Mr. Adesina precisely approached his father not to allow him to carryout his touring plan, Mr. Adesina harped on his brilliancy and commitment to studies while he was in school hence, I wouldn’t like the situations that would put his studies in jeopardy, Mr. Adesina stressed. This statement put his initial plans in jeopardy as his father had to oblige on his teacher’s recommendation.
After his initial plans was jeorpadized, Hon. Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun had no choice than to further his education, he proceeded to Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State to study Mathematics and Statistics, he was among the pioneer set of Mathematics and Statistics, the course he studied for a year before he crossed carpet to Financial Studies based on his outstanding performance in his previous department between 1996-1998, his quest for knowledge made him returned to the same school for his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy between 1999-2001. In 2002, he proceeded for 1year mandatory National Youths Service Corps in Sokoto State, he was posted to Sokoto Cement Company where he served as an accounting officer.
His Political Sojourn
Hon. Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun began his political career since his studentship at Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State. He participated actively in the activities of Students’ Union Government where he held various leadership positions in different capacities. He’s an active member of Oko Students Union, he made series of indelible impacts. In addition, HIS roles in formation of Surulere Local Government Area Student Association (SULGASA) cannot be overemphasized, as a pioneer member, he’s one of the brains behind setting standards for the leadership roles and operational policy of the association.
As a vibrant young politician, his political prowess extended beyond the shore of school politics, he was one of factors in Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Surulere Local Government during the administration of Former Governor Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina, he was in active participation and as Ward Secretary, Oko ward during its reign before he joined political train of Hon Olusegun Dokun Odebunmi of People Democratic Party (PDP) in 1999, during this period he was appointed as Local Secretary
Meanwhile, Hon Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun political vibrancy and prowess endeared his political leader, he walked the walks with his boss with sincerity and lots of commitment, the skills which dignified Hon Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun in the face of political leaders and subordinates, this inherent skills and dispositions exposed him to myriad of political positions he held in different capacities. Firstly, he served as Personal Assistant in 2003 to his boss Hon Olusegun Dokun Odebunmi (the then Caretaker Chairman, Surulere Local Government, Iresaadu) and Super for Special Duties between 2004-2007 during administration of Hon Olusegun Dokun Odebunmi as Executive Chairman of Surulere Local Government Iresaadu, Oyo State respectively.
As a brave and vibrant politician, he was nominated as running mate to Hon Israel Ogunniran (Master), in a keenly contested election among several contenders when Local Government administration was being considered as a vital tier of government. He held the Vice Chairmanship position between 2007-2010 with a lasting impacts, even though his tenure was filled with rigmarole.
Hon. Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun as someone endowed with understanding of viable politics, he reads the game of politics in between lines hence make swift decisions whenever the needs arise. Noticing the sinking traits of PDP between 2015-2019, following series of intensive consultations with his political leader Hon. Olusegun Dokun Odebunmi, he harmonized plans to dump the sinking PDP for APC.
As an active and vibrant politician, he contributed his quota to the development and stability of APC party in Surulere Local Government and Oyo State in general. He held different positions in different capacities both within the Local Government and state at large.
Hon Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun in his political prowess and uncommon leadership ethos was appointed as the Director General, inter party and coalitions for Tinubu/Shetima /Folarin in 2023 general election. He played his roles actively with passion and commitment.

Prince Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun has contributed immensely to the growth and development of his community in diverse ways. He’s one of the brains behind boundaries demarcation during Surulere South LCDA creation. As a politician of reputable repute with lots of inherent influence, he’s committed to offering both influential and financial supports to any course that would bring progress to his home town. He’s audacious and courageous, most technical decisions towards development of the Kingdom and its environment is always on his shoulder. Hence, the title of Àrẹ̀mọ Oranmiyan conferred on him is a testament to his selfless service, commitment and dedication to the growth and development of the Kingdom and society at large.

Prince (Alh.) Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun is an erudite politician and season businessman. Politically, he’s a successful politician, his influence has grown beyond the shore of the state, he has made significant and remarkable contributions to the stability of the polity both within and outside the state. He has featured in both national and international political seminars and as well held different political positions with indelible marks.
As a businessman, he’s the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shynacrown Investment Nig. Ltd., the company that has three subsidiaries: Shynacrown Oil & Gas, Shynacrown Real Estate and Land Acquisition Agency and Shynacrown Cash Produce Merchant, also, he’s the Chief Executive Officer Masfod Global Investment Ltd with a subsidiary of Masfod Lounge and Shytop Integrated Ltd. He’s a contractor of reputable repute with national recognition.

In 2020, the honorary award of Doctor in Business and Philosophy was conferred on him by U-fit fly International and Ojasope Audio-Visual Studio in conjunction with Christ Proclaimers Seminary International, this is in recognition of his inherent business management skills and viable business ideas in a dynamic and unstable economic conditions. He featured on Parrot FM sharing his wealth of experience on business management skills to young business potentials.
More so, the award of Liberator of Talented was also conferred on him by Martvic Communications in appreciation of his contributions to the success of Abala Ojú Ọjà programme and society at large, there are still more meritorious awards just to mention but few.
Àrẹ̀mọ title
Considering his exceptional contribution and humanitarian gestures to the community, HRM Ọba (Dr.) Solomon Olagoke Adisa Akinola Oyeyode III made an historic and landmark twist yesterday by conferring title Àrẹ̀mọ Oranmiyan of Oko Kingdom on him. This historic move is aimed at refurbishing the Kingdom towards gearing up new initiatives and ideas for the betterment of the kingdom. The title of Àrẹ̀mọ is far beyond merry making or bearing sake but to realign the Kingdom towards the cultural tenets and values needed for growth and development.
Family
Prince Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun is married to Evelyn Temitope Adedokun (Née Ogundeji) and blessed with four children.
Prince Adesina Ganiyu Adedokun is a brother, mentor, father and admirer of many. His uncommon dispositions and inherent traits endear many to loving him unconditionally.
