The Chief Imam of Ifeland, Osun, Alhaji Abdulsemiu Abdulhammed,
has charged Muslim faithful to fear God in all their deeds.
The Chief Imam gave the charge during the Jumaah prayer at Ife Central Mosque, Ile-Ife.
He said it was only the fear of God Almighty and constant supplications to Him by all Muslim faithful can bring an end to misfortunes.
According to him, if Muslim faithful can embrace the noble teaching of the Holy Scripture (Qur’an) and teaching of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), the society will be a better place.
He noted that the purpose of the existence of man on earth was to appreciate and serve God wholeheartedly
“Anyone that’s living needs to appreciate Allah for sparing his or her live till date and acknowledge Allah is the only way to reciprocate His goodness towards such.
“After death is judgement, and there’s no chance for the dead to praise Allah; the little we can do when alive is to serve Allah by worshipping Him, let’s do so as to be rewarded,” he said.
