Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Dr Aderemi Ayodele as a member of the Oyo State Advisory Council.
The governor also appointed former Commissioner of Police in the state, Ayodele Sonubi (Rtd), as Executive Adviser on Rule of Law Enforcement.
A letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, said Ayodele’s appointment takes immediate effect while Sonubi’s appointment takes effect from April 1, 2025.
Ayodele is a former chairman of Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
He had previously served as chairman of Ibadan North West Local Government.
Sonubi is the immediate past Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command.
Makinde charged the new appointees to discharge their duties with commitment, dedication and loyalty to the state.
