
Members of the Conference of Local Government Courier Officers in Oyo State has paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole (Wolekanle).
The officers, during the visit, expressed appreciation for the recent promotion exercise carried out across the local government system.
They commended Wolekanle for his proactive leadership and unwavering commitment to the welfare and career advancement of local government workers.
They also pledged their renewed dedication and commitment to effective service delivery across the 33 local government councils of the state.
Speaking on behalf of the group, their spokesperson noted that the recent promotion exercise had boosted morale and rekindled hope among officers, assuring that the recognition would be met with greater efficiency and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
In his response, Bashorun Akinwole reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration to the continued development and capacity-building of local government workers.
He charged the courier officers to uphold integrity and diligence in their roles, emphasizing that the success of local government administration greatly depends on the dedication of its workforce.
