A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogbomoso and Honourable Bayo Akinyode has expressed heartfelt gratitude to God as his father, Dn Sunday Akinyode, clocks 78 years, describing him as a pillar of faith, wisdom and selfless service.
In a congratulatory message released on Sunday to mark the birthday, Hon. Akinyode, who hails from Osupa area of Ogbomoso, Oyo State, praised his father for a life defined by humility, discipline and trust in God, noting that these virtues have left an indelible impact on his children, grandchildren and all who have encountered him.
According to him, Dn Pa Akinyode’s commitment to service and righteous living continues to inspire not only members of his family but also many others within and beyond his immediate community.
“My father’s life of faith, sacrifice and steadfast devotion to God remains a daily source of inspiration to me,” Hon. Akinyode said, adding “I am deeply grateful for his prayers, guidance and the enduring legacy of righteousness he has built over the years.”
He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the septuagenarian, asking for good health, peace, joy and many more fruitful years filled with divine presence.
He affirmed his love and honour for his father, describing the 78th birthday as a moment of thanksgiving and celebration of God’s grace upon Pa Akinyode’s life.
