Deputy Registrar Gafari Kolapo Olatinwo is one of the finest administrative minds at the Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Ogbomoso, Oyo State. He is an astute administrator, seasoned trainer, and a professional whose impact continues to shape institutional growth.
An Ibadan man to the core, Mr. Olatinwo’s career reflects years of dedication, discipline, and steady progression in public service. He rose through the ranks at the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State where he served diligently in various capacities within the Registry Department. His wealth of experience and commitment to excellence culminated in his promotion in 2018 as Deputy Registrar at the Federal Polytechnic Ede, from where he was seconded to the Federal Polytechnic Ayede in 2022.
Since his secondment to Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Mr. Olatinwo has distinguished himself as an epitome of development, professionalism, and institutional loyalty.
Working closely under the leadership of the Registrar, Mr. Akin Odesola, fondly described as the father figure of the Registry Department at FEDPA, he has continued to refine his administrative skills. By consciously observing, learning from, and complementing the vast experience of Mr. Odesola, Mr. Olatinwo has further strengthened the operational efficiency of the Registry and contributed meaningfully to the institution’s steady growth.
His service has also enjoyed the support of the Chairman of the Governing Council, Hon. Yakubu Dati (FNIPR), alongside other members of the Council. This support stems from the trust reposed in his competence, integrity, and dedication to duty.
Worthy of special mention is Mr. Olatinwo’s commitment to work and his harmonious relationship with the entire management of the Polytechnic under the distinguished leadership of the Rector, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed (FNSE, FNIEEE, FIMC, FIPMD, FIPQM, IION). His contributions align with the Rector’s vision of institutional excellence, administrative transparency, and sustainable development.
Beyond his official responsibilities, Mr. Olatinwo is widely regarded as a dependable leader and mentor, whose humility and work ethic continue to inspire colleagues and younger administrators within the Polytechnic community and beyond.
On this special occasion of his birthday, the Federal Polytechnic Ayede community celebrates a consummate professional, administrator, and a leader of proven capacity.
