An aspirant for the Ogbomoso North State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Tosin Olanrewaju Adegun, has promised to offer effective and people-oriented representation if he secures the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket and wins the 2027 general election.
Adegun, a businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist, made the pledge while meeting members of the APC Executive Committee at the party’s secretariat in Apake, Ogbomoso.

The meeting, which was interactive, provided the aspirant the opportunity to outline his reasons for seeking the party’s ticket and his vision for the constituency.
He said his decision was borne out of his passion for grassroots development and his desire to give purposeful representation to the people of Ogbomoso North.

According to him, he has, over the years, embarked on various empowerment programmes, paid WAEC fees for indigent students, and created job opportunities for more than 250 people across the constituency.
He, speaking with Pannigeriannews.com, added that his experience in business and community service has prepared him for effective lawmaking and constituency representation.

Hon. Adegun assured party leaders that, if elected, he would sponsor people-focused bills and motions, particularly in the areas of education, youth empowerment, women inclusion and small and medium-scale enterprise development.
He also pledged to maintain constant engagement with party stakeholders, traditional institutions and community leaders to ensure inclusive governance.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and promised to work for the unity and electoral success of the party in Ogbomoso North ahead of the 2027 polls.
Speaking at the meeting, the APC Chairman in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, Alhaji Rasheed Badmus, welcomed Adegun and the team to the secretariat.

He noted that the party would be fair to all.
The APC Chairman in Oyo North Senatorial District, Hon. Tunde Oloyede, alongside other party leaders present, also encouraged continued consultation and peaceful conduct as the party prepares for its primaries.
