An entrepreneur, philanthropist and 2027 aspirant for Ogbomoso South State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Amb. Lateef Mobolaji Akanbi Ibrahim (LIAM), has extended warm greetings to Muslims and Christians in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area and across Nigeria as they observe the holy seasons of Ramadan and Lent.
Amb. Ibrahim, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Charoite Stones Limited and founder of The Glams Realtor, described the concurrent observance of Ramadan and Lent as a unique period of spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to godliness and national development.
In a statement made available to journalists in Ogbomoso, LIAM congratulated the good people of Ogbomoso South and the entire country for witnessing the sacred seasons, urging them to use the period to pray fervently for Nigeria.
He charged Muslims and Christians to remember the nation in their prayers, especially in the areas of economic stability, security, and peaceful conduct of the 2027 general elections.
“Ramadan and Lent are seasons that call for deep reflection, self-discipline, love for one another, and total submission to the will of Almighty God. As we fast and pray, let us also intercede for our dear country.
“Nigeria needs divine intervention in our economy and security architecture. We must also commit the forthcoming 2027 general election into God’s hands, praying for peace, credible processes, and leaders who will prioritise the welfare of the people,” he said.
The Ogbomoso South Assembly hopeful noted that beyond political aspirations, nation-building requires unity, tolerance, and collective responsibility among citizens, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.
He urged residents of Ogbomoso South to continue to live in harmony and support initiatives that promote development, youth empowerment, and inclusive growth.
LIAM reaffirmed his commitment to service, stressing that his aspiration is rooted in the desire to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Ogbomoso South and the overall development of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
