Ogbomoso is blessed with great talents in many fields of human endeavours. One of them is the distinguished Hon. Julius Oluwatosin Ajayi, popularly known as Dove. He is a proud indigene of Ogbomoso, hailing from Akinsi’s Compound, Osupa in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area.
Over the years, he has steadily built a reputation as a humble, principled, and community-driven individual committed to making a difference.
Dove is the founder of Dove Bright Future Foundation, a non-government organisation dedicated to uplifting lives and fostering development within the community. His educational journey began at Federal Government Staff Primary School, followed by his secondary education at George Baptist Green College, Ogbomoso.
Hon. Ajayi later proceeded to the University of Ilorin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree.
Widely recognized across Ogbomoso, Dove is not a stranger to the people. He is known for his humility, integrity, and passion for service. Since venturing into politics in 2021, he has remained actively engaged, serving as the organiser of the Bright Future Forum which is now rebranded as Dove Bright Future Forum, a political group committed to grassroots mobilisation and civic participation.
In recent years, Dove has made notable impacts across various sectors. From supporting education initiatives to promoting social empowerment and organising food bank programmes for vulnerable communities, his efforts have touched many lives. These contributions stand as clear evidence of his dedication to improving the welfare of the people.
Looking ahead, Dove is currently considering a run for public office in the 2027 elections under a political party that will be announced in due course. Many believe that if given the opportunity to serve, he would represent his constituency with excellence, integrity, and a genuine commitment to progress.
