Today, family members, friends, associates, and admirers across Ogbomoso zone, Oyo State, and beyond celebrate an exceptional personality, Adedamola Olaniyan, Prince of Oko Kingdom, whose life continues to inspire hope, excellence, and purposeful leadership.
Omo Oba Adedamola Oladotun Olaniyan, born in the early 90s, began his educational journey at Federal Government College Staff School, Ogbomoso, where he obtained his primary education. He later proceeded to Smith International Baptist Academy, Ogbomoso (SIBAO), for his secondary education. His quest for knowledge and excellence led him to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Beyond his academic qualifications, Prince Olaniyan has acquired several professional certifications in taxation, accounting, and related fields. All of the certifications have dtrengthened his reputation as a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional.
Currently serving with the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), formerly known as the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Prince Olaniyan has distinguished himself through diligence, competence, and uncommon professionalism. His commitment to excellence has earned him numerous awards and recognitions both within his workplace and internationally, particularly in the United Kingdom.
Despite his remarkable professional accomplishments, Prince Olaniyan remains deeply connected to his roots and community. Even from his youthful days, he demonstrated qualities of leadership, responsibility, and commitment to communal development. His engagement in student unionism and struggle was top-notch. His humility, accessibility, and passion for helping others have consistently endeared him to many people across different walks of life.
On countless occasions, he has offered valuable insights on human capital development, mentorship, and personal growth to numerous individuals.
