

Thousands of supporters on Friday welcomed the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) House of Representatives candidate for OgbomosoNorth, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Kunle Samson Adegbite, during a procession through parts of Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Adegbite, Chairman of Twindad Foundation, was received by the supporters in a carnival-like manner as the procession moved through some major areas of the city.

Other NDC candidates who participated in the procession included the party’s candidate for Ogbomoso North State Constituency, Hon. Oluwaseun Adeyinka, and the candidate for Ogbomoso South State Constituency, Hon. Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as BSA.
The procession began with the convergence of supporters at the High School Area, from where they moved through Ahoyaya, Caretaker and Takie before ending at Ogunlola Hall, Ojaagbo.
The supporters carried party flags and campaign materials as they accompanied Adegbite and other candidates through the various areas.

Residents and passers-by also gathered along some parts of the route as the procession made its way through the city.
The event formed part of the political activities of the NDC in Ogbomoso ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Speaking at the Soun Ogunlola Hall, the Chairman of the NDC in Oyo State, Mrs. Oyeronke Bolajoko Akinlolu, thanked the people of Ogbomoso for what she described as a massive turnout in support of Adegbite and other NDC candidates at the grassroots, state and national levels.
At the event, Adegbite expressed appreciation to the leadership of the party, its members and supporters for their support.
He called on people of the constituency to vote him, promising a leadership of transcormation, progress and development.
He also empowered some constituents with various items, including motorcycles and laptops, as part of activities at the event.
Adegbite said the empowerment was part of his efforts to support constituents and create opportunities for economic self-reliance.
He has also trained hundreds of constituents in different vocational skills through his foundation, equipping beneficiaries with practical skills aimed at improving their livelihoods and enabling them to establish or expand their means of income.
