Yeye Abimbola Odebunmi, wife of the immediate past Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Information, National Orientation, Values and Ethics, Honourable Olusegun Dokun Odebunm (Bunvic), has appealed to Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in his leadership and economic transformation agenda.
Yeye Odebunmi made the appeal during an enlightenment and mobilisation campaign organised in support of her husband’s ambition to return to the House of Representatives, representing Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa Federal Constituency in Oyo State, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The campaign also featured the promotion of Villa Networking with Hajia Dr. Hussena Ottaru, the Oyo State chapter of a networking initiative aimed at educating Nigerians on the reasons to support President Tinubu for a second term.
Describing the President as a brilliant administrator, problem-solver and emancipator of the masses, Yeye Odebunmi expressed optimism that his continued leadership would strengthen economic growth, expand opportunities and improve the living conditions of Nigerians.
She likened Tinubu to the biblical Joshua, expressing her belief that he possessed the vision and divine mandate to lead Nigeria towards its promised land of prosperity and national development.
The APC chieftain’s wife also appealed to party members and stakeholders across Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa to support her husband’s 2027 House of Representatives ambition.
She described Otunba Segun Odebunmi, the Okanlomo of Ogbomosoland, as a compassionate leader, grassroots developer, attentive representative and lover of the masses.
According to her, his return to the National Assembly would provide an opportunity to consolidate previous achievements and attract unprecedented development to the two local government areas.
She expressed confidence that his leadership would promote inclusive development, improve the welfare of constituents and deliver meaningful democratic dividends without discrimination.
The campaign underscores her commitment to grassroots mobilisation and advocacy ahead of the 2027 general elections.
