
The Ogbomoso Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, popularly known as the Valiant Branch, is set to host her February general meeting and technical session.
Pannigeriannews.com reports that this is the first time the society will have the meeting at Federal Polytechnic Ayede, signifying a milestone in the history of the institution.
The Chairman of the branch, Engr. Prof. Samson Olakunle Ojoawo, a fellow of the NSE, the meeting will be hosted by the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, a fellow of the NSE.
As a mark of honour to Engr. Dr. Abdul-Hameed, Prof. Ojaowo added that the meeting will be held at the institution’s 250 Seater-Auditorium, Iresa-Pupa temporary site at 4 p.m. today, Thursday, February 27, 2025.
According to the organisers, there shall be a technical paper presentation by Engr. Prof. Alice Olufunke Oke, MNSE, MAPWEN on “AI in Engineering: Bridging Smart Technology with Cutting-Edge Solutions“.
Among other spices, there will be musical entertainment to be led the popular Jossy Apala.
