Graham International University (GIU) has appointed Prof. Mufutau Akanmu Popoola as an Affiliated Professor and PhD Student Advisor.
The appointment, according to the university, was in a move to enhance the institution’s academic and research prowess.
Prof. Akanmu, a distinguished Nigerian scholar with extensive experience in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and International Business, brings a wealth of expertise to the GIU community.
Prof. Popoola holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and has conducted impactful research in his field. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Business Administration and PhD Student Advisor at Global Humanistic University (GHU) in Curaçao.
He is also a Lecturer at Federal Polytechnic Ayede in Oyo State, Nigeria.
Prof. Akanmu serves as an Academic Leader for Accreditation Agency Curaçao (AAC) and is a Research Fellow at the American Research Center in Sofia, Bulgaria.
With a prolific academic background, Prof. Akanmu has authored 42 research publications in reputable journals, garnering over 265 citations.
His expertise in supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students, coupled with his role on the editorial and reviewer boards of 40 international academic journals, reflects his dedication to advancing knowledge and fostering academic excellence.
