The Adegbite family of Olukumopa compound, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Saturday, buried their matriarch, Late Madam Comfort Abegbe Adegbite.
Madam Adegbite, who aged 90 years, breathed her last on July 10, 2023 and was today buried after various services, including final burial service held at Ori Oke Baptist Church, Apake, Ogbomoso.
Earlier on Friday, there were Lying in State at her residence, City area and Service of Songs at Ori Oke Baptist Church.
The celebration of the life of Late Madam Adegbite was greeted by testimonies of the exemplary life lived by the departed soul who, it was said, served the Lord diligently.
She was born to the family of Late Pa Abraham Aborisade Oyeniran and Late Madam Oyawenu Oyeniran of Bowula compound, Ijery Oba in the present Ogbomoso South local government area of Oyo State in 1933.
In 1957, she married her husband, Late Pa David Okunade Adegbite.
She was a shrewd busines person and, upon her marriage, joined her husband in sawmilling business.
Late Madam Adewuyi was blessed with many biological and non-biological children within and outside the family and testimonies of her good life were shared by people across the globe who have had contact with her while alive.
She is survived by children, grand children, among others too numerous to mention.
