2027: APM chairmanship aspirant in Ido charges electorate to vote Makinde, APM candidates

A leading chairmanship aspirant of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Taiwo James Ayanwale, popularly known as Kameel, has called on Nigerians, particularly the people of Oyo State, to support Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential ambition and vote for all candidates of the party in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Ayanwale, a grassroots politician, philanthropist, and indigene of Ward 10 in Ido Local Government, said Governor Makinde has demonstrated the capacity, vision, and leadership needed to transform Nigeria through his outstanding performance in Oyo State.
In a press statement made available to Pan-Nigerian News, Ayanwale said, “The country will move forward if Governor Seyi Makinde is elected President of Nigeria in 2027.
“His Excellency, Governor Seyi Abiodun Makinde, has already shown what purposeful leadership can achieve in Oyo State, and I have no doubt that he will replicate those tremendous achievements across Nigeria,” he said.
The chairmanship hopeful described Makinde’s achievements in Oyo State as unprecedented, saying the governor has distinguished himself through massive employment across different sectors, improved security, rural development, economic expansion, increased Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), and extensive road infrastructure projects, to mention a few.
“Governor Makinde’s strides are second to none in the history of Oyo State. From massive employment and improved security to rural development, economic growth, increased IGR and road infrastructure, the results are visible for everyone to see. These are the qualities Nigeria needs at this critical time.”
Speaking on the APM, Ayanwale said the governor’s exemplary leadership has inspired confidence in the party’s candidates.
He described the APM candidates as individuals committed to sustaining development and delivering quality governance.
“The leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, has solidly signified that all the candidates of the Allied Peoples Movement have been carefully selected. Our governorship candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekambi, our senatorial candidates, House of Representatives candidates and House of Assembly candidates are agents of progress and development who are prepared to serve the people with dedication and integrity,” he said.
He expressed confidence that the party’s governorship candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekambi, possesses the competence and experience to build on the achievements of the current administration.
“Hon. Bimbo Adekambi will consolidate on the solid pedestal of development established by Governor Seyi Makinde. The foundation has been laid, and with Adekambi at the helm, Oyo State will witness even greater progress and sustainable development,” Ayanwale added.
He, therefore, appealed to the electorate to vote massively for all APM candidates in the 2027 general elections, saying the party remains committed to people-oriented governance.
“I urge the good people of Oyo State to support Governor Seyi Makinde for President and vote all APM candidates from the governorship to the Senate, House of Representatives, House of Assembly and local government elections.
“Together, we can sustain the gains of good governance and usher in greater development for Oyo State and Nigeria,” he said.
Pan-Nigerian News reports that Hon. Ayanwale has continued to earn widespread recognition for his humanitarian interventions across Ido Local Government Area, where he has supported vulnerable residents through various philanthropic initiatives, further strengthening his grassroots appeal.
