The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State, Dr Taofeek Abdul-Hameed, has unveiled a private facility, Adorable Kids Centre, in Idi Ayin, near the 5 site of the Polyteíchnic in Surulere local government area of Oyo State.
Dr Abdul-Hameed, represented by the Polytechnic Librarian, Dr Samuel Ogunniyi, commended the proprietor of the centre for the foresight and ideas towards laying good foundation for kids as well as adolescents and adults.
He said, “Unlike other places where they have may be a room for those kids, just for them to sit down.
“With what we have seen today from those books, we can see that those who may want to acquire them shall be getting them at the lower cost and those women want to make their kids learn to read and use the library at catch them- young. This will be a good place to be.”
“So, on behalf of my Rector, Engr Dr Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, I congratulate the Adorable Kids Center while I pray the other dreams come to fulfillment in earnest.
The centre, with other branches across the country, is owned, financed and managed by an education and leadership consultant, Alhaji Idris Ismail.
According to Alhaji Ismail, the centre renders among other services day care , after school services, holiday programme and mentoring for both adults and adolescents.
“It is to provide immediate succour for working and nursing mothers to be at peace at work while the babies and kids are in safe hands, fun-learning enclave and serene environment while contributing to reducing unemployment especially within the immediate community,” he added
