
The Oniyaku of Yaku in Ogbomosoland, His Royal Highness, High Chief Sunday Oyeniyi Ojewumi, on Friday, installed four heads of families as magajis.
Those installed as magajis at a colourful event included Prince Dn Ezekiel Oloyede Okediji for Fasesan ruling family; Prince Kayode Salako for Olusoji family; Prince Adeniran Adeyemo for Ojewole Abinuwaye and Prince Oyelere Areo of Areomi family.
Prince Okediji is an accomplished professional in welding business whose experience spans over fifty years. He was ordained as deacon at Unity Baptist Church, Ogbomoso on May 25, 1993.
Born in the fifties, Prince Salako had his primary in Jos, Plateau State and secondary school education at Ogbomoso High School, Ogbomoso. He proceeded to Oliver High School, Oyo for his HSC1. Thereafter, he went back to Jos and ventured into business.
Prince Adeniran attended Agurodo Baptist Primary School, Ejigbo; Baptist Secondary Modern School, Olla; Ahamadu Bello University, Zaria; University of Ado-Ekiti, Ado-Ekiti.
He worked with the Oyo State Government in the education sector and retired at topnotch level.
Prince Oyelere Areo also distinguished himself as a devoted stakeholder in the progress and development of humanity.
During the event which held at Oniyaku Palace, Yaku Orile in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, High Chief Ojewumi lauded the entire indigenes of Yaku, home and in the Diaspora, for their unalloyed support, unity, and love for their ancestral home.
Speaking on behalf of the other mogajis, Prince Okediji thanked the Oniyaku, other traditional rulers, all the priests, sons and daughters of Yaku, wives and other wellwishers for their commitment to the success of the event.
Prince Okediji stated that the installation of the mogajis has has further projected the Kingdom into a brighter future.
“What happened here today i’s a thing of the future. We thank the our Kaabiesi for unity that is reigning in the Yaku family. So, on behalf of other mogajis, I thank you all for your support,” Okediji said.
