Leading haematology, immunology scholar to deliver OAU’s 400 inaugural lecture

A scholar of haematology and immunology at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, Professor Lateef Salawu, is set to deliver the institution’s 400th inaugural lecture.

Themed “Blood is healthy; our blood mirrors our being”, the lecture, according to information obtained from the OAU official Facebook handle, will take place at Oduduwa Hall, OAU, Ile-Ife on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

The Vice Chancellor of OAU, Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire, is expected to chair the event which, according to information, will unravel the science linking blood to overall well-being, gain insights from leading haematology expert.
