The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate of the House of Representatives Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency, Dr. Kunle Adegbite, popularly known as Twindad, has donated N2 million to Hephzibah Music Outreach to support gospel evangelism through music.
The donation was presented on his behalf by the Director-General of the Twindad Movement, Surveyor Oladepo John Oladepo, during the unveiling of “E Wa Semilore,” a gospel music album produced by Brother and Pastor Mrs. Tayo Toyin Olalekan.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Adegbite, a philanthropist, psyciatric health specialist and politician, described gospel music as a powerful tool for evangelism and spiritual transformation, urging Christians, philanthropists and corporate organisations to support gospel ministers financially to enable them continue spreading the message of Christ.
Adegbite,an advocate of religious tolerance, said those who invest in God’s work would reap eternal rewards, adding that consistent support for ministries promoting righteousness and hope would contribute to building a better society.
“Gospel ministers deserve our encouragement, not only through words but also through practical support.
“By investing in God’s work, we are investing in lives and in the advancement of His Kingdom,” he said.
Adegbite commended the producers of “E Wa Semilore” for their commitment to gospel music ministry and prayed that the album would minister to lives across Nigeria and beyond.
